Unfortunately, many analog meters have been and are being digitized. Of course, they no longer run backwards. The reason the digital meters have not been installed everywhere yet is only because the Chinese are having delivery difficulties.

Because we Germans are really clever. We prefer to install the cheap Chinese gadgets in our power grids, while on the other hand Chinese communication devices are banned.

Now I'm just waiting for someone to hack these Chinese meters and manipulate their power consumption with a dongle or something similar. I wouldn't be surprised anymore.

Because, as I said, everything related to digitalization in Germany does not work.

In our district, the computers in the hospitals have just crashed. Hospitals and medical care centers mostly closed. No surgeries possible.

This morning on the radio, a doctor and association chairman said that the entire digitalization in healthcare has collapsed. Neither the electronic health certificate, the electronic prescription, nor the electronic patient file works. Now the connectors in doctors' offices are on strike. Now paper and digital again. Disaster everywhere.

The grandiose announcement of electronic vehicle registration certainly does not work in my district. The people at the registration office don't even know anything about it.

You can only shake your head here.

A quick off-topic question... Do we have a sealing problem? We have several windows upstairs... Inside, the screed is drying but the plaster inside at the same spot is wet... We ventilate 3 times daily but there is always water standing on the windowsill inside... Thank you

That’s on the outside, isn’t it?

Is it supposed to penetrate from the inside?

Is there a window rebate ventilation present?
With us, water condenses between the frame and the window when it is cold and then flows out onto the windowsill through the small drainage channels in the frame.
I could imagine that this is much more intense with high humidity inside the house.

What surprises me is that the wall becomes wet. If I remember correctly, there is a metal sheet at that spot in our house.

Does it just look like that or is there a crack in the masonry at that spot where the moisture runs down?

Actually, the windowsill has a side finishing profile that leads to a drip edge. In this respect, the moisture should drip off and not run along the wall. The exterior base coat seems to already be applied, so this definitely does not look right, no matter where the water is coming from.

No window rebate ventilation... It's already the top coat plaster... It's like this on several windows on the upper floor

This is what it looks like inside
