I have been watching the real wood door sets (frame/door/handle) at DeineTür.de since the beginning of the year. The price went from €280 to €294 in April and is currently €303 since July.
There is currently no decline in demand for the interior doors as they are installed last. I hope something will change so that I can buy cheaper next year. Actually, the prices should go down since the price of wood has also decreased...

In Croatia, bathroom fittings are very affordable with a selection you won't find in Germany. I like gold-colored fittings, which you hardly find in this quality in Germany and certainly not at this price. I was at the specialist dealer just last week and I will take them with me.

I also find the selection of washbasins very tasteful and affordable. I don't need Villeroy & Boch for that.

Just a few examples with the corresponding prices as a comparison.

The standard models are perhaps 50% cheaper in terms of price.

Certainly good in terms of price, but I don't find the photos very convincing quality-wise. The gold-plated fittings look cheap, the black-glazed washbasin inside looks very uneven (you can see it in the reflection of the lamps). Just my 2 cents, but it wouldn't be my thing.

It is clear that this mostly Italian merchandise is not of high quality. We know that from the Italian tiles. All cheap junk.

You can also buy a Dornbracht faucet in polished gold, but that then costs 3000 euros or more.
With specialist dealers in Germany, however, you can only shop to a limited extent as a private person. Here, that does not matter at all.
There are entire department stores with only sanitary fittings. Such a thing is not known in Germany.

Shrinkflation: Our GU is currently seeing a downsizing, from ~150sqm to ~125sqm in house sizes, so that prices remain stable.
