You speak from my heart! If your company is big enough, the public pays for all your bad decisions and even subsidizes your electricity. The dependent employee is left empty-handed and just has to spend a bit of money for the "environment"...

In German class, one would say about your post "Fail, six. Topic missed." You - did not answer with a single point to the question of where the 3,000-6,000€ per running meter of new district heating pipes come from - copied a colorful mix of phrases from articles (operating costs district heating, connection costs to the existing district heating network, costs for district heating with transfer station) - did not copy a single reliable statement So once again the question, where do the costs you mentioned for the construction of new district heating networks come from? Where I agree is that with district heating one commits to a monopolist. You can no longer independently choose your contracting partner.

What I can tell you is that already 50 years ago the GDR relied on district heating and supplied large parts of industry and apartments with it. The heat losses were immense at that time. Even today, these old above-ground supply lines can be seen in many places. After the reunification, everything was dismantled because district heating was too expensive. Simply uneconomical compared to decentralized gas and oil heating systems. Today money does not matter, so everything is back to district heating. Property owners can only hope that they are not forced to connect. Because there is also a connection and mandatory usage obligation for district heating. I was asked about sources and not for a cost calculation per meter of pipe. I responded accordingly. Housing companies then make it very easy for themselves. They sell their heating to contracting companies, who then handle the heating from heat generation to billing themselves. This then becomes expensive for tenants or owners of residential property.

To cheer you up, a short quiz for the group.

The citizens would go crazy "when they see that 300,000 asylum seekers have been rejected, do not leave the country, and receive full benefits." He added: "They sit at the doctor and have their teeth redone, and the German citizens next to them can't get appointments.

Who was it?

Little tip: it wasn't the AfD.

Well, yes. He quoted absolutely reputable sources that report such prices. That it does not fit into your worldview is another story. But if one is no longer allowed to quote reputable newspapers or online portals without understanding the exact background and calculations behind the statements... then, Karsten, you better leave quickly here, because as far as I understand, you are a banker and not a mechanical engineering graduate in supply engineering...
