Me again... for understanding:
So the open kitchen is more due to the space than the desire for an unobstructed view.
Do you think you have more space with an open kitchen than with a closed one?
You actually don’t have much space planned for your kitchen. (By the way, the length of the kitchen can still only be guessed!)
I also find it very cramped because of the short wall with the fridge. You plan 4 legs and therefore can no longer move properly together in the kitchen. You will hinder each other in it. If the furnishing of the electrical appliances isn’t right, you might annoy yourselves daily or bump into a door/flap and hurt yourself.
Now, it was very important to us that the oven/microwave and dishwasher are not near the floor.
If you take the important things like oven, fridge, and dishwasher, these, alongside stove and sink, must all have a functioning place so that when cooking, for example, one does not hinder the other, the dishwasher is operable, and nobody gets the fridge door slammed in their face.
What kind of room is next to the kitchen? Can’t you close the kitchen and put the door to the hallway? Then aim for a two-row kitchen?
In this case, I actually see your wishes as not well feasible.
Kerstin has indeed drawn a nice kitchen, but this kitchen has 3 single kitchen rows, which gives the kitchen a certain unrest.
With "your idea" to "integrate" the half-high cabinet into the living room, for me that is the worst option, as I don’t know what other options I still have.
If it were my house, I would change it until the priority with the half-height dishwasher works. You need counter space, therefore walls. Or more space.
Since the manufacturer is standardized, would you rather go to the big furniture store or the small kitchen studio?
I would recommend the kitchen buying book to you or search here in the forum for the endless thread on kitchen prices. Because that is a politics of its own.
After some calculations, the kitchen planner came to 12,000 euros (without electrical appliances) for a Nobilia kitchen with good high-gloss fronts and mid-price drawers.
... with appliances then 16,000? After negotiating then again 12,000? I find that a fair price.
