The areas around the table ... is the 1m depth drawn in? I don't find the distance to the glass problematic, as long as it is fixed glass. The distance to the island is already tight, that only works with chairs pushed in or if they are the type that really fit closely under the table. We have these loungy "armchairs" at the dining table that, even when pushed in, stick out 60cm. You have to know what you want there. The 1m is definitely comfortable for sitting down, but as a passage, this way is out if someone is sitting there. The 36cm on the left end facing the gray object is obviously a hassle. What is the gray box? Important/heavily used? (Spoiler: If this is supposed to be the refrigerator, I would find that very unfortunate both for the fridge itself and for the surrounding seats). When the table is fully occupied, you hardly get to your guests anymore. Neither from above nor from below. The person at the left head end has the short straw; nobody sits there voluntarily anymore.
