Nope, such a dishwasher is set 20 to 40 cm higher than usual. And children from 2 years old can start unloading the dishwasher in the lower part, and by the latest at 4 years old, they can also reach the upper part.

You should reconsider the built-in microwave and the side by side.

Built-in microwaves are extremely expensive (also for replacement later if it breaks) and not necessarily attractive.
Cheaper and above all more visually appealing would be a regular microwave behind a lift-up door.
In many side by sides, not even a pizza box fits because the freezer compartment is so narrow.

By the way, 87cm should only be sold if that is exactly the height suitable for the buyer. And those are at most very small buyers. The height should of course be individually measured today.

Additional note on the SbS .. placing it directly next to a wall is generally not a good idea, since the doors usually need to be opened at an angle of up to 135° if you want to remove drawers etc. for cleaning. You should take a close look at this for the desired models.

Yes. The solution for that would be a French door appliance, but for some reason they are really rare. And probably even more expensive.

and often require some distance from the wall. In general, just look at the installation instructions of the devices. And in general, any kind of stand-alone refrigerator, meaning not built into a cabinet, is usually not well placed directly next to a wall or you have a small gap to the wall. This also applies to many normal 60 cm wide refrigerators, as they need some distance from the wall because of the handle.

Hello
Don’t let anyone talk you out of the Side by Side.

If you want it, then design the kitchen around it.

What’s always the problem with the pizza box that doesn’t fit??? We have had SBS refrigerators in the family for years and a pizza box fits everywhere.

Just because many people can’t do anything with such a fridge and therefore have no real experience, doesn’t mean you have to badmouth it to others.

We now have a French door in the new kitchen and it is absolutely brilliant.

Best regards
Birgit
