I agree with you.. that's actually my attitude too.. I just hope the pollutant input is minimal.. Also, it will only be done once, then never again. Best regards

We also had a rough plan at the start of construction. During the construction phase, we noticed where we intuitively sat a lot and made some adjustments. We bought plants for the hedges towards the neighbors. Almost all perennials and ground covers were gifted to us by friends and relatives. Or through giveaway ads on the classified ads portal, and we have more than 800 sqm. There are great plants among them! The remaining areas are some lawn and a lot of mustard and bunch beauty, winter vetch sowing. We do this until we gradually get and buy more plants.

After our staircase was completed in autumn, the next project starts in January. We have just ordered a seven-meter fiberglass flagpole with an onion top, in white, classic, with a three-meter-long Schleswig Holstein pennant on it. That will be chic and the Hamburgers across the street will roll their eyes. I will then raise it in the morning, it will come down at sunset, while raising it I will quietly hum Schleswig-Holstein surrounded by the sea, German custom high watch..., when lowering it we will whistle the popular Lübeck March, Hold on hold on in the storm roar....

I'm excited to see a picture, !

Not much has happened in the garden lately. I have planted some bulbs. Various hyacinths, crocuses, tulips, daffodils, etc. A bed in the front garden was also created, a small round bed with a few roses and perennials.

I also took a lot of little plants from the mother plants of my climbing strawberries and placed them in a nursery box; so far they look good. They are supposed to be planted in various places in spring, for example at the fence. There are about 40 of them.

Well, what else... we have also created a bed for some vegetables and sowed green manure in the other vegetable beds. Since we have at least 2 hedgehogs in the garden, which are already sleeping, we’re taking it easy there. The Christmas tree will be cut up and spread out as winter protection in the next few days, and then that’s it. In the basement, we tore down unnecessary partition walls; the bricks obtained from that will be used to make a herb circle, which I am really looking forward to. But it will probably be more of a strawberry circle, because my Senga Sengana just grow like crazy and they taste so delicious, so I’ll definitely take even more of those.

Well, otherwise our activities shift seasonally more to the indoors; work will continue in the basement to bridge the time until spring with plastering and possibly the first tile-laying experiment of my life...
