On my Felco (No.6), the lock has a screw that you can simply tighten. Then it holds as well. Is it different on yours?

I swear by Felco. No comparison to those I had before from Gardena. I also have the No. 6 and the lock has to be consciously closed, it doesn’t just fall off by itself. But you’re right, the color is important so that the thing doesn’t get lost.

Nope, not really. It's just our carport above it, and two parking spaces in front. :) Question to the group: Does anyone know a remedy that helps against sorrel and barnyard grass in the lawn?

This week it finally started in our garden :) Whether the pavement will ever be clean again remains to be seen, but we expected that. It will be fine. It’s still anything but colorful, but I hope that by the end of next week we’ll have something half decent :)

Finally, the tomato harvest is starting here too:

Although I started especially early this year, we have never harvested so late - thanks to the cold, wet spring and early summer. The tomatoes were in a kind of shock for a long time.
I still have one plant that I cannot harvest from yet (German Gold), all the tomatoes on it are still green.
At least I haven't lost everything to late blight (like, for example, my mother-in-law).
