We have decided on a rock garden. The spaces between the stones will still be further planted. There is also a fleece underneath.
Currently still a construction site, I am wiring the lighting and sockets, some stones are still missing. Got a nice muscle ache, a few tons of stones are still lying in the driveway.
The beer table will still be replaced by a nice table.

Phew, well it's not my case. But I also think that "stone" and "garden" exclude each other.

Of course, it’s a matter of taste. But why do they exclude each other?

Very cool! Thanks! I only saw your answer today. I'm currently losing all interest in the garden. We basically stay indoors regardless of the weather. As soon as the sun comes out and I open my terrace door, I either hear country music or techno blaring from the neighbor's property. Then I usually turn around immediately. I gradually don't know what else to do. He argues it's at room volume. But I don't know if you can really call it room volume when 45 dB still reach my side of the property behind the fence (after he already turned it down). Currently, the music is being drowned out by his teenage son, who is riding a non-licensed motorcycle in circles here in the residential area... such a wonderful Sunday.

You were the one with the hypersensitivity, right? That’s not meant negatively, just to define the situation. By the way, I find music droning absolutely unnecessary in nature and also in the garden. Indoors it can be on, but then you only hear it a little on the terrace. I can’t quite grasp it either: I once had a colleague who couldn’t filter out background noises. He got annoyed even by the clinking of the spoon in the yogurt and always moved away because of frogs, chirping birds, etc. (tenant).

I don’t know about hypersensitivity, it just annoys me and I find it hard to concentrate on something else when I always have background music in the garden.
We’re mostly indoors, but after several weeks it annoys us because we’d also like to sit in the garden sometimes. But it’s not possible, because every single Sunday the radio keeps playing.
And 45-50db on my property is definitely not room volume. Basically, room volume already excludes that you can hear something from the neighbor’s property in my living room...
