Your wall is delicate compared to my jungle.
Weeds don’t just come from below, they also come from above.

Last year the new section in front of the house was relatively weed-free. Dandelions were immediately removed and done.
This year endless sorrel, St. John's wort - no idea where that comes from, so it stays, pansies, hazelnuts, and the occasional wannabe oak. Sorrel and hazelnuts are quite unaffected. All newly flown in.

a small part of my jungle. The tree has really delicious apples. Age well over 70. Not everything fits into one picture

One idea on the slope would be to lay slope nets over the films. These are made of coconut, which decomposes over the years. The net is quite coarse and could hold mulch/hoe quite well.

My wife has been busy again...

Started building a small rock garden in the entrance area out of slate stones. It is not finished yet.

The mowing edge is just provisional for now. It will still be put into the ground. Furthermore, a whole lot of phlox will be planted.

Then we removed the turf on the entire slope at the house and also planted phlox. A mowing edge for the robot will also be added at the bottom.

And then our triangle at the terrace, which we planted last year, has literally exploded.

Nothing special but we like it. We find the raised beds from Biohort really nice both visually and in terms of quality. We have our vegetable garden in them and behind the carport we have our raspberry plantation :)
