And grass snakes are completely harmless and very shy. I hope she stays with us for a while. Yesterday I was able to watch her for half an hour during various hunting attempts.
Fascinating animal.
But the "danger" of having an animal like that is really low. You would really have to turn it into a biotope.

Yes, I know, they don't do anything. I have a panic fear of anything that looks like a snake. When I was a small child, I once stepped on one and it hissed at me (understandably), that left a big impression on me.

The strawberry season has started.. yammi..

We are just now getting the first individual berries.

The roses are blooming so much that the first branches have broken off. And the scent along with it.

The tomatoes are starting to bloom. Still relatively small although they are catching up well, but so stable. So far the stakes are still just decoration.

The chili harvest will be very small, the snails have eaten almost all the plants.

Today, once again a look into the garden.. As of today, strawberry harvest: 35 kg :eek: In the bottles is strawberry syrup..

The upcoming abundant tomato harvest is already visible again :cool:
