yep, there is one running on every area. They run every day and only go inside through the sensor control... or in the evening according to a schedule. The lower one from last year also looks quite good, the upper one is currently a disaster... last year it looked so nice.

the whole lawn is full of it! Over time it spreads in circular patches. The gardener says that's completely normal, it gives the lawn stability. He can try fooling someone else! I’ve now mowed it down to 1cm with a mower that has a catcher, so the seeds don’t end up in the lawn. I’m curious if that helps. According to the internet, that damn grass apparently starts flowering again immediately...

Is that irony? I find the lawn super beautiful and lush.

No, this is not irony. The Poa annua displaces the "normal" grass and spreads aggressively. Since it completely withers at the slightest dry period, you then get the typical brown spots in the lawn. The lawn mower robot distributes the seeds, which then literally "infest" the lawn.

I just don't know if you can confront the gardener with it. In my opinion, this is a defect. Sure, the seeds also spread through the air, but our neighbors don't have this "infestation."
