Colorful Garden Chat Picture Thread

I like the idea of a bath stove, for example.. then warm water could also flow.. but even old used ones are really expensive at the moment..

The bath stove is already here.. we were able to find one fairly cheaply in our town.. Thanks to a search ad on Ebay-KA :) And for a change, some garden pictures.. ah.. a few sun rays and double-digit temperatures, that draws me outside.. I cleaned everything up nicely and mowed the lawn for the first time. Even our scruffy lawn looks really good after all the rain. The tomato plants are slowly getting going and the first seeds are in the bed. As soon as something pokes out, I add mulch. I'm already curious about the strawberries.. last year we had an amazing harvest. How are things looking for you?

It is slowly becoming spring. But you can still notice that there is frost at night from time to time.

I am currently working through point three on the seemingly 27-page outdoor to-do list ;-)

2 of the 4 planned planting boxes are almost finished. They are meant for plants for privacy screening. Currently planned are bamboo and glossy ligustrum. The boxes are handmade and made of bangkirai, dimensions 150 cm long x 45 cm wide and approx. 70 cm high. Inside, suitable mortar buckets rest on slats. A rim for aesthetics will be added on top.

Why are other gardens so beautifully colorful and already finished...? I am a bit jealous...

Finished? I still have almost 400 sqm of steep slope ahead of me

For green and colorful, we still have to wait a few weeks, it's all work in progress. But at least the first steps are done. Terrain modeling last Saturday, yesterday I prepared and sowed the grass areas, also planted the slope and fruit and berries. The first stones of the dry stone wall are already in place. Here’s a little preview. Since everything is happening in parallel, the work area around the wall will have to remain clear for now.
