The terrace is finally finished! The railing is still missing and the stairs down to the front yard, but at last you can walk out level through all the doors!!!

Today the facade in the rear area is being finished and we will get a sliding door to the shed there (otherwise you can always see the trash bins). Then at the back, only the oven needs to receive its finish.
Schatzi is picking up the mulch (pine mulch) today and it will go onto the beds - slowly it's coming together!

We are currently removing the stairs from the balcony to the front garden, hopefully that won't take too long either.

I have 1.5 weeks off starting tomorrow and actually I don’t want to have any craftsmen buzzing around me then, but really want to relax, just do a day trip (mountains or bike tour) without having to be at home because this or that needs to be dealt with on the spot.
Let’s see if the plan works out.

I will measure the stake over the weekend, it should be 1m.

Roses again.. at the old house our roses were always puny.. we took some with us when we moved.. here at the new location they are finally developing their beauty...
