Can you give me a recommendation? After having hopelessly devoted ourselves to kiwi cultivation for 7 years, they are being removed. From when can figs be expected to bear fruit? Do you need male and female plants?

Male and female flowers are needed here. However, pollination apparently works differently here through a specific species of wasp. The trees would not bear fruit in Germany.

I did a bit more planting in the garden on Sunday. The plants had already been in pots for a few weeks, the butterfly lilac was already drooping badly. Today I think it's doing better again.

Before - After: Our mini-bed in front of the house, once on May 9th (after planting), and once on August 15th. :)

The things have now all moved into the bed. Freshly planted on the left, the two pictures on the right already a bit recovered, 2 days later.

Another before-after. The rose standard is really a jackpot. I was afraid at first it wouldn’t get enough sun there but it has actually been blooming for months since I planted it there. Dreamy.

We have new visitors.

Looks like a stinkhorn to me.
They’re probably not easy to get rid of.
Stupid or stupid or somehow manageable?
