You are doing everything right with that. And I expect that much common sense from others as well. And at the latest when I am stuck in traffic, one should have enough sense to realize that the chosen excursion destination is probably overcrowded and it would be better to go somewhere else. But that is exactly where it fails. People just sit in traffic jams for hours on the way to the excursion destinations. And then it is so crowded there that even outdoors certain distancing rules can no longer be observed. The accident situation comes on top of that. The 15km rule is stupid and can lead to absurd situations - but it has become necessary because quite a few people simply don’t give a damn about any regulations and you just need clear rules in order to be able to appropriately sanction violations that endanger the well-being of the general public. If everyone acted with consideration, excursion destinations would not be so overcrowded and such regulations would not be necessary (which I would also prefer). But unfortunately, that is not the case.

Sorting my seeds right now and hoping that I can get potting soil at Kaufland - nurseries, garden centers, and hardware stores are closed...

I hope that my favorite retailer offers a pick-up system. They are allowed to from today and I don’t want to order online or buy anything in the supermarket. I have already sorted it out. Hardware stores, I think, will get it together quite quickly. Especially the chains have experience. Business customers are allowed to pick up and in other federal states also private customers.

We recently urgently needed building materials and at Obi etc. there are good delivery services, our Globus DIY store delivered to us within less than 24 hours and they also have soils, seeds, etc. Usually, you have to reach a certain minimum amount, but you get there quickly anyway

With building material, you have to look at the freight costs. Many charge a lot of money. Soil, sand, gravel, also some building material are delivered by a landscape gardener here. Often pay only 5 or 10 euros freight. That he does it, I only found out through [word of mouth].
