It looks different here in the neighborhood. When I see that, I really have to hurry with our [SEHR].

Hello everyone,
Thank you for the tips! We have now decided on many plants such as sage, thyme, oregano, rosemary, and conifers. In between, alternating flowering perennials.

Have the manufacturer and product name of this rubble stone imitation wall already been mentioned here?

Very tasteful! Personally, I prefer a colorful mix and so on, but this also has its charm.

I am currently planning to plant even more perennials and roses. I had to move a rose, which now stands somewhat lost on a patch of lawn, and around it at some distance are only a few hibiscus shrubs. The little piece of lawn is not really usable for sitting or anything like that; I had only sown the lawn there because I initially didn't know what to do with it (before, there was a small asparagus patch^^). Now there is a beautiful Rosa Hugonis (Chinese wild rose, blooms wonderfully in April with many small open yellow flowers) and around it I will plant perennials so that it will also bloom there from April to October. I am already looking forward to it, because it is quite close to the pavilion and I like to sit there under the sour cherry tree .

Even if only the hedge is visible, I simply love enjoying this view in the garden!

A new week and today the steel parts were finally supposed to be delivered, with which we can then continue.

The one who is not finished was the locksmith... Our garden landscaper must have had a small tantrum because as long as he can’t move forward here, he can hardly start anything new.

We are also annoyed because slowly we just want to get to the end and I have a whole batch of plants waiting to finally be planted. Some I already had to temporarily plant elsewhere because they were slowly wilting in the pot. Actually, we should have had a finished garden since last Monday.

Now it was said: the steel things WILL DEFINITELY come on Tuesday and we can finally continue.

That didn’t happen. We are waiting until the locksmith finally bothers to show up. Well, he said beginning of June - maybe we should have asked for the year *hm*

Therefore, no big progress with us, only the slope under our balcony was provided with dry walls made of shell limestone:

Shade-tolerant plants will also go there (although in the afternoon at least the upper plants do get some sun, but not much). There are even supposed to be grasses that can be planted in the lower area. We’ll see what comes.

Overall, we like it very much!

And otherwise: keep your fingers crossed that we can finally continue...
