My velvet hydrangea already has really big buds in its first year and I am eagerly waiting to see when the first one will probably open:

(is of course checked daily! )

Good morning,

maybe someone remembers when I showed pictures of the Ferrari with which I plowed through the field.
In the meantime, quite a bit has progressed. Except for 2 trees, I have fenced everything off, paved the path, and set mowing edges outside.
Now I still need a whole lot of topsoil and will lay the boundary wire and the search cable for R2D2, the smaller brother of Robocop. Then I will sow, apply starter fertilizer and soil activator... I hope R2D2 can already mow by the start of school at the end of August.

Tomorrow lay down the boundary cable and then the soil activator, starter fertilizer and grass seed can go on... that was really a tough piece of work when I think about how it used to look... all done as a one-man show

Looks good and also seems like a lot of work....I have already been through that as well. Still missing lawn edges and boundary wire for the Robi.

Did you lay the mowing edge only dry on gravel or did you also use concrete?
