It's a pity, there were surely a few treasures in the cleared forest, just take a look to the right and left to see if someone is clearing there, all sizes are included.

Unfortunately, there was nothing there. At the front, along about 40 meters, we wanted to clear everything because the house extends quite far into the property and there will be a carport in front. Also, the tree ordinance in Fichtenwalde is very strict. If we didn’t fell the trees now, it would hardly be possible later. The large trees we wanted to keep were two beautiful but unfortunately dried-up pines. Otherwise, only brittle locust trees. I have already walked through with the tree cutter and asked for advice. We have now left about 18 trees standing on the green strip. Behind the house and in the front (once everything is done) we will plant trees afterwards.

And if now some comments come like "Cutting down trees is bad," we had to finance a reforestation for the ENTIRE property conversion. In the end, trees were planted elsewhere and we also left some standing. So now there are more trees

I often walk past a beautifully overgrown, park-like property here. There was really a lot going on in the fall: red maple and sweetgum, yellow elms, rust-colored katsura tree, and a few conifers to match. Totally beautiful and varied. I wouldn't plant such a large area uniformly with spruces. No idea what grows well with you... but the Späth's, they know that.

Take a mix of what you simply like very much and – if not included – native trees. Having them planted is not very expensive if you take several trees at once. Pay attention to the desired growth height. Good suggestions. Very beautiful are also laburnum, hornbeam, beech, ironwood, maple (fan – Japanese...), magnolia (star or tulip), harlequin willow, rowan...

Yes, but the overall classification of the substance no longer has to do with CMR, Flufenacet is only present in a 21% proportion. Therefore, the overall product results in “only” a "Skin Sens. 1A" and "STOT RE 2," which means it can damage organs if exposed to the stuff longer and/or more frequently (damage is not the same as cancer). I find the danger to groundwater more concerning.

THAT is certainly sensible, and I would definitely support that. But please don’t pull out the cancer card. It is not healthy, especially for children who are growing, and that should actually be enough as an argument.

ps: I am not a farmer, but I deal with hazardous substances and luckily many safety data sheets are available online. pps: again no photo, but I didn’t want to just leave it like that.

For these two tree species, I would suggest buying this year's Christmas tree in a pot and then planting it in the future garden after the holidays. Then it will be 3 meters tall in two years, as they grow quickly and tall. Often, it also only succeeds with cuttings that you stick into the ground.
