Reseed and water several times daily in any case.

We currently water it every evening and occasionally in the morning. Everyone tells us something different about the topic, but so far we had the most consensus on "watering in the evening." I also wonder why it grows patchy, since we sowed by hand and water, everything is possible, possibly uneven sowing and watering. o_O I think the soil is also denser in some places than elsewhere. Where it looks bare, it's not that nothing grows, just individual shoots. Where it's bushier, of course, there's more. I do believe we'll get it through the hot days. The hottest was with us yesterday, it's already cooler again and for the coming days even a bit of rain is forecast.

Watering in the morning is actually better because the lawn is not heated then and gets its drinking strength for the hot day. But currently watering so little is really grossly wrong

Yes, that is included. It contains perennial ryegrass, creeping red fescue, and meadow fescue. It wasn’t the cheapest mixture, I think mid-range; we paid about €60 for 10kg.

Always keep newly sown seeds moist! Currently, this means watering quite hourly in the afternoon.

The mixture sounds quite classic, with the meadow brome of higher quality. But the ryegrass is simply the fastest and can provide some shade to the other varieties after two weeks.

Okay, then we will increase that a bit again. Apparently, the idea that you should not water in the sun is just a myth (which, however, has been persistently told to us by many sides).
