200m2 single-family house for 4-5 people without a basement on a narrow plot

I find the Klops on the small plot totally inappropriate. I would check the need for rooms again. Is a guest room and an office really needed at the same time? Over 11m² just for the technology and then again as much for the laundry – seriously? Does the development plan actually allow 2 full floors + attic? Maybe it's better to use the roof as a development reserve in case K3 really comes and make do with less until then? You also always have to consider that all of this needs to be maintained. We had also planned for 2 children and now have over 170m². Unfortunately, it didn’t work out with the kids. Now I have to admit that we really have 2 rooms left over. Aside from heating, they also have to be cleaned. That’s really annoying sometimes. Losing garden space for that would not be an option for me with just over 500sqm. Has the budget actually been mentioned yet?

An expandable attic is unfortunately not possible, otherwise we would have done it that way too. We just don’t want to give up on child 3 just because the house has one room too few. Of course, the spare office upstairs is possibly "left over" if K3 doesn’t come.

Larger plots were unfortunately "sold out." Although we would have preferred to buy a small one with a cellar option. But you take what you get.

And what is being offered as a calculation or what is the budget? For 200m2 you are at 500k€ in Bavaria plus ancillary building costs plus garage plus exterior facilities plus equipment. However, this is still without major special requests...
