Indeed, that is already in planning. But now I first have to enjoy the finished garden sauna. Somehow today is sauna weather...Great. I can join in on the topic of green roofs here. We also did it ourselves with sedum that looks like roll-out turf. I really enjoy the green roof; there are real bumblebee parties going on up there.

My wish was for higher espalier trees at the border, but the neighbor did not allow that. So it remains somewhat "uneasy" because I cannot completely neutralize the neighbor's building at the border.
With the neighbor's permission, you could at least give the wooden privacy screen on the right, on your side, the dark coloring; then everything would be somewhat neutralized.

Thank you, that is a good hint. I will try that when she is in a good mood. She is an older lady and "actually" doesn't want any changes because she likes everything just the way it is.
