Oh - as long as there are still enough shrubs etc. around, lawn is nice too, look at English gardens, they are wonderfully designed with beds, trees, lawns, and open sightlines - if I had more space, we would probably have a bit more lawn between the meadow ;) What I always find a pity or not good at all is, depending on the geographical location, the enormous amount of water that has to be given to such a lawn every summer to keep it green and not burn. A meadow doesn't need that and still looks good. And in times when it rains less and the GW levels are dropping... But it will still take several years for that to sink in many minds. Until then, enjoy it ;) *Zeigefinger wieder einpack

I looked at the house from the hill opposite during the dog walk and captured with my phone that you can see the photovoltaic tiles depending on the angle of sunlight or not. The darker spots in one of the pictures are the active tiles. The images are greatly enlarged because the distance is actually far for the phone, which is why the roof has strange stripes in one picture that are not visible in real life.

Cool, photovoltaic tiles!
Is that Elon Musk’s project or which provider do you have them from?

Me when I was building: "I'm only going to do grass. It's my house after all. I definitely won't make any flowerbeds, I hate weeding!" Me when I moved in: "Okay, maybe a flowerbed. A small one." Me today, half a year later: "Flowers!!!1elf" ♥♥♥
