But then it is just not a carport anymore. Because that only requires a roof. Structurally, they look similar. Just search for glass patio roofing with shading or sun protection.

At a height of 30 to 50 cm, I would build a string framework as suggested by hampshire, kneel down and see how much depth is comfortable to work with. Browse Pinterest, there are many instructions and ideas. Maybe also a pyramid etc., it doesn't always have to be a rectangle.

Vegetables also fit in. I put these together in a few hours and adjusted them to the slope by eye. It's really no big deal.

I have now taken a look at it with [KD-Überdachung]. I was thinking more of an ordinary wooden carport, from the hardware store if you like, and it should then receive various upgrades.
