After a few delays, at least part of the roll-out lawn (600 sqm) was laid today… still missing bushes, shrubs, and the like, but it already looks like a garden :)

Just harvested and spontaneously invited neighbors to an Indian evening. The leftovers will be used to make chili pastes and sauces.

Looks good. We will have 900 sqm of garden area behind the house. Is a roll lawn just as good as a normally seeded one? And what should one pay attention to with it?

Whether that is better (in terms of what?) I cannot judge. There are different opinions, [Rollrasen] definitely goes faster and does not have to compete directly with weeds.

Regardless of the type of lawn chosen, definitely do not do without [Maulwurfnetze]. I thought it would surely be possible without them because there was no mole activity here in the last two years… as soon as the loose soil and the lawn are laid, the tunnels and mounds lead from the edge of the property onto the lawn area

In the long term, that’s fine with me if they feel comfortable there, but if they are now crawling around under the turf, it simply won’t grow properly.

In your area, roll lawn is delivered from de in 3 qualities, and also take their fertilizer, but please only after building permit and house construction. You don't want to need the residential container from , which should be available in a few weeks ;)
