Exactly that I believe too, you can put liters of impregnation on it, it's not a good combination... and they're not particularly thick either^^

You don’t know my impregnation … Sure, nothing lasts forever and even black holes eventually evaporate. However, these boards will survive significantly longer than a few years ;) Not much slides down. Some details of the slope are not visible. Primarily, our goal is to minimize weeds, since working on the slope is by no means easy. If something slides, it is so much easier to move the wood chips back to the desired spot. Before, without the corresponding measures, that was much more time-consuming.

Could you maybe help us figure out what is wrong with our magnolia? Bought in May and it has already had a few blossoms. At first, there were occasional aphids on it, but we removed them by hand. Suddenly, the leaves started to discolor and dry out. However, it is sprouting new leaves, which look the same after a short time. It was fertilized only once with a little coffee grounds, otherwise only watered. The soil is heavy topsoil with some clay content.

Waterlogging? At least for us, it feels like it has rained continuously for the past six months.
