This assumption is also wrong. Because the damage is already done. That means even these people who enter data have probably dealt with the topic out of pressure from suffering. The majority is not interested (or does not have time), not even if the system runs with a COP less than 3. Then you just pay 30 euros more for electricity per month...

... you can also just badmouth a product if you yourself are pissed off about it because things are not going smoothly for you ...

So I do understand Bookstar and it especially hurts in winter. It's probably not 30€, right? For 30€ per month, I wouldn't have made such a fuss here myself. It's probably more like up to 100€ per winter month. I don't want to dwell on it either. But your heat pump seems to be running efficiently, it's just your house that is absorbing the heat.

I personally think that gas is the more mature technology. It forgives more errors in sizing and hydraulic balancing. It is more robust and not dependent on outside temperatures. Therefore, it is naturally cheaper to purchase and maintain. And the non-technical homeowner does not have to spend hours reading up on the subject... But, since politics is involved (rising CO2 tax on gas, necessity of solar, stories about the evil Russian and his dependence, promotion of heat pumps, general "eco trend"), gas heating in single-family homes will be phased out in the medium term like "diesel and gasoline cars." However, if we all switch nationwide to electric cars and heat pumps, the electricity will still come from coal and gas power plants and nuclear reactors from France and the Czech Republic.

That's only because the heating companies like to sell "high-tech". There are plenty of heat pumps whose price starts at €3,000 plus installation and accessories. But otherwise, I agree with you. In my opinion, politics is going in the (right) direction, only the implementation is crappy...

But that is also very generalized....As already mentioned, there are various comparative calculations and it heavily depends on the framework conditions and what I include in the calculation (connection costs, chimney, solar, chimney sweep, etc.) The discussion doesn’t really belong in this thread...
