Air-water heat pump current consumption and data

I also thought I wasn’t seeing correctly. 7 days continuously cold. This is the first time I am consciously tracking this.

Is a proper load test being conducted for the power grids, when suddenly the heating element takes over with many poorly adjusted air-water heat pumps. There has been a massive increase in heat pumps in recent years. If then the photovoltaic systems are covered in snow and a few high-voltage lines to the north fail due to freezing rain and bending masts, it becomes interesting. Possibly the utility interruption will then last a few hours longer per day...

Luckily I only have one meter, so no EVU stuff :)

Hello everyone, I am reading along diligently because I find the topic very interesting. However, I am not yet ready to tackle the matter. But I would like to briefly ask 2 questions to better understand the system.
1st question: When it was rather cold in January, I had about 1-5 compressor starts per day. The last few days, when it has been rather mild, I get 10-20 compressor starts per day. How is that connected?
2nd question: The tubes (Topmeter?) are almost completely black and barely readable. Installation was November 2020. Is that normal?
Since mid-January I have also been recording all kinds of data. So power consumption, heat generated, etc.

What are the values you noted?

Point 1 is probably due to a too large heat pump combined with suboptimal settings. This will only improve once you get comfortable with the things involved.

I would complain about point 2. Certainly, no treated water was used there and something (expansion vessel, towel radiator, etc.) is happily oxidizing away.
