I don’t find the consumption at your temperatures, especially upstairs, to be rocket science. I wouldn’t know whether I would let my child play at 20 degrees. And the 20 degrees in the bathroom, well, you have to like that.

For me, the amount of heat was 115 kWh, so more than twice as much. Electricity 26 kWh.

That means the systems run with about the same consumption. However, you have an extremely low heat energy demand. Maybe it is due to the unheated basement and lower temperatures after all. I don't know.

Nobody claimed that either. We just wanted to compare the consumption. I don't know what your children do at 8 PM but my children are in bed and no longer playing. During the day, the solar yield takes care of the rest. Don't be mad at me but I find it strange to reject temperatures in the house because of poor children who freeze while playing. Why do you want to heat a bathroom to 23-24 degrees if you only hang around there for 30 minutes a day? Besides, I don't have any toddlers running around here anymore, everyone can say it's too cold and that they want it warmer. But nobody does. Just try it, maybe it's too warm for you :) and you don't know it.

You read everywhere that 1 degree less flow temperature corresponds to a 6% saving. Since we are 3 degrees apart, it can therefore not be due to the temperature.

So you have to decide for yourself how important a heated basement is, because it is also not due to the efficiency of the system.

You cannot compare your houses 1:1, if Bookstar needs more degrees it can be due to the insulation, location, ventilation, or something similar that causes it to need more.
