Those are great values! However, out of interest, I wonder how it works with a two-way meter and what it shows. Since we have over 10 kW, we had to install a "real" generation meter so that the values can be determined exactly. Is it the same with a two-way meter, or are the above values actually the grid consumption (4,334) and the feed-in (5,686)? If yes, then the total consumption would be the grid consumption plus self-consumption (amount unknown).

That's true. If there is no smart meter in the system, you have to determine the self-consumption and add it to the consumption. However, most systems, at the latest with storage and [Wallbox], now have some kind of smart meter installed.

The value relevant for tax purposes is always generation minus feed-in, read on the calibrated meter of the grid operator (2.8.0).

Sure. The smart meter should adhere to the values of the inverters. In my case, it simply reads them out (and adds them up). Although that is indeed an interesting point. Apart from the feed-in meter, none of the counters are likely to be calibrated. So I can’t really report that 100% accurately on the tax return. Probably, for a household with a maximum of 30 kVA (above that it has to be metered differently, if I remember correctly), these are just trifles that nobody cares about.

Well, how is one supposed to verify that (retroactively), given the level of digitization in our administration and power grids ;-)

The values are already diverging. For example, with the Fronius inverter, I also have the option to see self-consumption, I record it too, but the values always deviate from the "official" measurement. Sometimes more, sometimes less. 5% are possible there. In a normal household, however, it’s about amounts under €10 per year, so you probably don’t have to be more papal than the pope ;-)

Where do you get more official values than from the WR?
