Tonight the heating turned on again and if I look at the temperatures for the coming days, the heating will probably go on every night. I have to call the electricity provider now and increase the advance payment, otherwise the additional payment this year will be too heavy.

Absolutely crazy weather this year, so much for climate change....

May I ask where exactly you live? That's incredible. I currently have the windows open in my old apartment (1960s + some insulation and new windows) so it doesn't get too warm with all the sunlight. There isn't much cooling at night - around 10 degrees).

I would also proactively call the bank to see to what extent the loan can be increased on short notice ;)

Same here. If you want 22 to 23 degrees indoor temperature, the heat pump just has to run for a few hours now and then. And why freeze? The kWh of heat is never as cheap as it is at the current outdoor temperatures.

Yeah, near Stuttgart. Currently, we have 7 degrees at night and 15 degrees during the day. Little to no sun. Basically, it’s autumn weather similar to October.

Do you have a lot of wind there? Even with so much cloud cover, the temperature here stayed quite steady.
