Air-water heat pump current consumption and data

We have a Novelan LICV 8, installed indoors, hot water storage tank 300l. Circulation runs about 2.5 hours a day in pulses. 2 adults shower daily, 2 children (6+8 years) also shower daily in the summer. Hot water temperature 49°C, hysteresis 5K, hot water is usually prepared once a day, rarely every 2nd day. Only sometimes does the little one empty the hot water tank out of pure joy. The heating was not running in June. Last year, during the summer months, we produced between 100-170kWh of heat for hot water production, so it was not an extraordinary month.

So, yesterday I turned on the heating again for the first time. I just like it to be cozy and warm in the house. During the summer, the air-to-water heat pump stood out due to unexpectedly high standby consumption, resulting in monthly performance factors around a miserable 2.5. But I guess nothing can be done about that. Now the second heating season in the new house is starting; I’m curious whether the heat demand is actually lower thanks to less construction moisture.

Why high standby consumption? Have you looked into the cause?

It is a well-known issue at Alpha Innotec, as the oil sump heater is constantly running. Apparently, it cannot be avoided according to the pink forum.

How cold is it with you? My heating has long not even gotten the idea to turn on at these outdoor and indoor temperatures. And I haven’t even finished my energy renovation yet...
