The return temperature of 32° at 0° AT is really brutal, I didn’t even have that last winter at -20°. Was the bathroom and guest room completely open?

What was your electricity consumption last January and February? That was probably double again, right?

Yes, the bathroom and guest room are always open. Well, the 32°C return flow and 37°C supply flow are only operated for a relatively "short" time in cycles when the mixer closes. The cold return flow, which comes into the buffer from the underfloor heating, causes the average buffer temperature to stabilize after the heat pump adjusts. Nevertheless, the average temperature level is already high, so the system defrosts relatively often and, of course, the power consumption is increased. Last winter I had completely different settings ;) Recently, at around 0°C, I had a consumption of about 30kWh/day including hot water, which is why I am now trying the above settings (which are recommended). Unfortunately without real success... The 5K buffer overcharge is, by the way, the recommendation of the customer service!

How big is your buffer?

I believe 's system is one of the best documented here. Although 30kWh per day for heating at 0°C outside temperature is already unambitious.

The buffer (hydr. Weiche) has 100L.
yes, 30kWh is already quite a lot. It’s not worth it to me then :p

What I notice is that a lower flow rate of the UWP leads to an adjustment of the heat pump and underfloor heating flow.
Then the UWP only delivers 700 l/h at 11 watts, while the heat pump delivers 1000 l/h. With these settings, the flow temperatures are the same...
My compressor runs continuously at 100 (or more) Hertz...

How does that fit together?
7.5 kW power consumption? o_O
