As I do not mean. If the line is installed, it should also be flushed once a day. But 5 minutes are enough for that.

That is also my thought/approach so far

It might still depend a bit on the piping details.
Basically, Legionella bacteria thrive best at 25-45 degrees.
That is exactly what circulation achieves.
In addition, possibly existing Legionella are thus distributed throughout the whole system.

Therefore, it is best not to install it at all. However, if it is present, there may be cases where otherwise there are "dead legs" that never get fresh water. Still, all the arguments above apply there as well. ;-)

I just thought of something else, there are also other nasties like Legionella. I prefer to let it run once a day, the primal instinct demands running water ;) It's also quite good for triggering water treatment.

Unfortunately, I couldn't find anything about that.
By the way, the regulation stipulates that when using an air-to-water heat pump, a hot water temperature of 50°C is sufficient for legionella protection.
I'll set it to 50°C with an 8K hysteresis; then it will only produce hot water once a day. For that, I'll turn off the hot water circulation.

The objection is always raised here that you would then have to thoroughly flush all tap points during the [Legionellen Programm]. Otherwise, you might potentially breed heat-resistant creatures.
