Or what’s the point if I work with ERR to save energy and still have to operate with 40°C flow temperature to get the place warm?
Have you ever tried to fully open all ERRs and lower the heating curve?
But that contradicts every physics and heating technology. Higher flow temperature greatly increases consumption, especially with a heat pump.
Maybe I’m thinking wrong right now because my heat pump is controlled by return temperature. The flow temperature is reached relatively quickly. Consumption-wise, the jump from flow temperature 30 to, for example, flow temperature 33 takes 15 minutes. That’s negligible with 2kWh. What takes longer, of course, is reaching the target return temperature.
But that only happens once because the temperature level then adjusts itself with respect to the return temperature.
