Does it say anywhere that I am doing something else? ;) My concern is that the rH climbs back up to (partly over) 60% after a short time. I don't have that in any other room. Not even in the small bathroom or in the utility room where damp laundry dries almost 24/7.

With us, the temperature cools down from 23-24 to 16-17 degrees during cross-ventilation, then rises back to 23 degrees in a short time.

Sorry to say this, but something is not right. This has nothing to do with residual moisture, especially since it's only one room. There are only two possibilities: something is leaking or moist. Insulation? Pipe? Process of elimination....

I rather believe that the windows simply are not being aired properly.

Open the windows 3-4 times a day and create a draft. You need cold air that can absorb moisture. If you ventilate from 23.5 to 21.5 degrees, it practically does nothing.

Even if you don't ventilate at all, it is already strange at 23 degrees in the bathroom and over 60 air temperature. Just imagine how much water is in the air. That cannot come from just one shower.

That could be about right, you have 2-3 siphons, damp towels, the plaster absorbs a small amount of water, possibly damp bath mats, etc.

No matter what, ventilating to reduce moisture in the air is practically useless if you only manage to lower the temperature by 1-2 degrees. It's hardly easier to get rid of the moisture than with the current outside temperatures.
