A photovoltaic system doesn't pay off even with self-consumption and feed-in for less than 12 years. How is it supposed to pay off at all without self-consumption? I'm curious about that!
I just calculated it, the amortization is over 20 years. Then the thing is junk. You can forget it completely :). But that doesn't include any insurance or the possibility that the inverter might fail within that time. In practice, you're probably looking at 25-30 years.
I really can't read it anymore. Just stop badmouthing photovoltaics.
Especially with your heat pump consumption and the e-car, at least photovoltaics without storage would be profitable.
Even I come to +4k€ after 20 years including storage without considering any electricity price increases, minus taxes, performance losses, insurance, etc. My photovoltaic system has now produced a gross income/savings of €1,639 in the 50th week. You can extrapolate that over 20 years and deduct whatever costs you want. If after deductions you still end up with €19k, we're roughly breaking even.
