Pipe insulation is ordered and will be delivered in the next few days. IR thermometer is available and has been tested. I can rule out a hydraulic short circuit. No return flow is nearly as warm as the supply flow in the heating circuit distributor.

This deviation within 25 minutes is unacceptable.

Return dropped by 0.8 and supply by 0.3. Thus, the differential has increased to 2.5K in standby. 25 minutes ago it was still 1.9K. How is that supposed to happen? Not at all. As said, we are talking about non-heating operation here. There must be no differential at all.

Where measured, in the heat pump? Normally, the pump runs for a certain time even if heating is not active, which alone results in a difference.
