That is unfortunately wrong! Flow rate is only good if the water also goes out. Running in circles brings danger instead of added value!

But just circulating it in a loop doesn’t kill any Legionella as long as it stays in the same closed system.

No, of course not. Although with sufficient speed, frictional heat of course also occurs... ;-)

Do you want to say now that no circulation at all is more hygienic than running it occasionally?
I would gladly leave it off completely for reasons of efficiency and the purpose of "I don't need it".
