I’m just looking for the reason for the unrealistically low consumption. Was your house that small? I don’t believe so. So there must be something you’re not taking into account right now. The only thing I can think of is wood stove, sun, or reading error. 13 kWh for heating including hot water is not possible with an air-to-water heat pump below zero degrees. Physics..

At least on the ground floor we have a very high solar gain. The upper floor can’t keep up with that, but downstairs it already gets very warm at full sunlight without lowering the blinds. That doesn’t bother me as long as the underfloor heating is switched off.

Does it make sense then to keep the circulation pump running to distribute the solar gains via the underfloor heating throughout the house?

If it had a power consumption of 13 kW/h, that would be about 50 kWh of heat generation at a COP of 4. Leaving the pump running makes sense because in winter the pump runs anyway, so the distribution happens automatically, except of course if the Err block the room. One reason not to use Err.
