The 3791 kWh grid consumption refer to your heat pump electricity only, right? It can’t be the total annual house electricity consumption.
Because I myself have already extrapolated to 3300 kWh "total annual house electricity consumption" from grid consumption over 12 months and for me 12 months of photovoltaics, 9 months of storage, and 2.5 months heating only with the fireplace play a role.

Unfortunately, I still don’t get the heat pump. The temperature spread is okay again now, the consumption as well. Let’s see how long. Yesterday it was somewhere around 12-14 kWh for the heat pump.

Your consumption is really something. Yesterday, I used three times as much as you, 34 kWh. Water accounts for 6 kWh of that. The rest is heating.

That was yesterday. Today looks similar. The constant blocks at 2.4kW level are the heat pump with 2kW consumption per hour.

But as I said, the heat pump is a black box to me. Tomorrow it could run catastrophically again.

P.S. I have turned down the heating cable for hot water today using a timer. It now only runs between 6-8 am and 3-8 pm.
It’s insane how much is wasted there in a year. Continuously 240 watts per hour.

Well, you can see that the heat pump hardly runs at all. That suggests that the outside temperature is very high or the house is extremely well insulated. It does not suggest a very efficient heat pump, which could still be the case!

Our heat pump currently runs about 20 hours a day with 4-6 kW output. Otherwise, it would be cold in the house. KfW55 house with a very good blower door test. So, the building envelope is fully intact.

So it remains somewhat of a mystery :)

Maybe Zaba runs a server farm in the building? Or simply more people than average in the house? The waste heat from human bodies should not be underestimated.
