Air-water heat pump current consumption and data

Let's start with the conclusion: Only the next annual statement will be meaningful, as the heat pump will then be optimized and the storage will have “acted” for 12 months.

I received the annual statement from my electricity supplier earlier today.
12 months grid consumption (07.02.-06.02.) totaling 3025 kWh. That is just a raw number for now.
The additional information is,

- of which 12 months photovoltaic
- of which from 06.05., so 9 months with 6.4 kW storage
- 2.5 months (beginning 10/2020 to mid 12/2020) heated with wood
- 12 months heated and produced hot water with non-optimized heat pump.
- E-car present, but drove 5k km less due to Corona.

I can't say, as the two meters only show photovoltaic production and grid consumption. I did not read the photovoltaic values from the billing disk. I can only read an autonomy rate or self-consumption share on 05/05 (a full 12 months), since the inverter has only been measuring total consumption since the battery was connected. Currently, autonomy is at 65% and self-consumption at 44%. I hope to reach around 71% by May if April and half of March are sunny.

Your 3000kw stands against ours with about 9000kw. Until that pays off, oh dear. Still, I think it will become necessary in the next few years. Above all, I see charging the car as worthwhile. How high were your investments for photovoltaics and storage and what would you consider not worth it anymore?

I also received an offer for retrofitting. From an acquaintance who has already retrofitted a few houses. But it is still completely uncharted territory.






And yesterday it happened for the first time that the storage ran empty/cold..

Bathed 2 children in the large bathtub and showered almost at the same time :p already close to the lowest hot water temperature before.

You can order it as is (I have the storage and the inverter myself). The price is also okay, it won’t get cheaper. But keep in mind, the scaffolding is "on-site." The scaffolding will cost you an additional 1k€.

You don’t need the expansion module if you otherwise consume around 12-14kw per day.
From mid-May to the end of September, I always had 20-30% storage left in the battery after the night until the photovoltaic system charged again.

From mid-October, the storage hardly filled up anymore.

It always depends on how you calculate. For you, it’s about 18k€ in expenses. For me, it was always included in the house financing and paid off like the house.

I also find the offer pretty good. Next week it will get interesting temperature-wise for us again.
