I think it’s simply colder here, we still have -4 degrees at night, so the house just cools down a lot. That’s why I’m adjusting the heating curve now, a parallel shift always triggers that annoying device. I don’t know why. I generally run about 20% above the heat demand that I would actually consider normal. I haven’t been able to figure out why so far. The efficiency of the heat pump seems to be fine.

You mean 700 kWh for heating and heat pump? But well, you have to be satisfied and it seems you are.

Currently, the total house consumption here is 347 kWh grid usage for February. But that’s because I only used 12 kWh in the last 8 days.

P.S. I can already see your electric cars landing at night despite photovoltaics :cool:

Yes, 700 for heating and hot water in February. As I said, it was freezing cold, so it's okay.

I am satisfied if I have no more than 80 euros in heating costs on average per month for the cabin. That was always my calculation. Last year I managed that well, but this year it was extremely cold and it might be tight with my target :D.

Back then I considered geothermal energy, after subsidies it would still have cost me 12,000 euros more. If I now calculate that I might have 60 euros in heating costs per month, it would take about 50 years to break even. It's more relaxed living with the air pump!

Currently, the average consumption in February is 33 kWh heating+hot water+household electricity.

Just had an idea. Throughout November, we had the same average temperature as the last 4 days in February. Converted for November, I come to 19 kWh per day. That's exactly identical to the last 3 days. That means the heating runs roughly just as well/poorly as in November :D...
