How much does it cost to heat with wood for a month if you have to buy it and don’t own a forest yourself?

€85 per cubic meter of hardwood cut to 25cm

Currently, we have saved just over €100 and still have about 1 month’s worth of wood, which we will now use for the transitional period.

But this year won’t be representative regarding consumption anyway, as we have adjusted many settings.

12.07.19 Consumption meter 0 kWh (move-in)
31.12.19 Consumption meter 3083 kWh
06.05.20 Consumption meter 5579 kWh (storage installation)
25.07.20 Consumption meter 5624 kWh
19.10.20 Consumption meter 5743 kWh
27.11.20 Consumption meter 5895 kWh

I think you can see quite clearly that I really had to try things out this year, since in my opinion I had too high a consumption despite photovoltaics.

Whether it was due to the heat pump, the electric car, or simply thoughtless electricity use, I will find out next year.

I’m really scared to mess around with the heat pump. So I try it the other way around. 17% efficiency adds up, so did everything right.

your heat pump is probably the best set up here. So your 460 kWh don’t count

Oh, to complete the picture, including photovoltaic electricity from 07/21/19 to 12/31/19, we consumed 4795 kWh. For 5 1/3 months definitely a lot, even with the e-car.

Is there an anti-discrimination officer here? :P

Can you see how much you charged into your car?

No, unfortunately not. I estimate about 9kwh on average per working day.

So the heating has been on since yesterday. I really hope that we are currently this high because the screed is cold and everything has to warm up first.

However, the household consumption was not really representative either. The lady turned on everything that was possible. Washing machine, dryer, oven, stove, etc. several times.

Yesterday, on the first day, we were at 28 kWh including household electricity. In the last 2 weeks, about 13 kWh consumption without heating has been recorded. If the heat pump consumes 10 kWh in 3 days, then it's okay. Let's wait and see.
