Air-water heat pump current consumption and data

I will turn on the underfloor heating tomorrow, as the wood might only be sufficient for December, and we didn’t see any sun last week and there is no sun in sight next week either, to warm the rooms upstairs by 1-2 degrees more. With currently -8 degrees (and in recent days below zero at night without sun during the day), it was 22 degrees on the ground floor and 19 degrees on the upper floor. It should not be any less now.

How much does it cost to heat with wood for a month if you have to buy it and don't own a forest yourself?

Yes, you were right, November picked up massively, we had almost continuously below 0 degrees in the second half. So we used 548 kWh in November, which at 0.21 cents electricity price = 115 euros. Definitely fits.

Last year we consumed 660 kWh during this period and November was almost 1 degree warmer on average. Still achieved a reduction of 17% compared to the previous year.

COP 3.8 during this time. Surely there are systems that achieve over 4, I am aware that I do not have the TOP setup. But at least I don’t have to hide anymore :D. And it’s very warm everywhere, at least 22.5 degrees, except bedroom (18.5).

Surely I could lower the heating curve a bit, haven't used the wood stove out of laziness the last few weeks (have to prepare wood first :D). Also water at 50 degrees and high consumption.

But comfort is much more important to me; I don’t care if we consume more :)

I'm really scared to mess with the heat pump. So I'm trying it the other way around. 17% efficiency adds up, so everything was done right.

your heat pump is probably the best adjusted here. So your 460kwh don’t count :cool:

Oh, to complete the picture, including the photovoltaic electricity, we consumed 4795 kwh from 07/21/19 to 12/31/19. For 5 1/3 months definitely, even if with the electric car it’s too much.
