Controlled residential ventilation :) helps there.
The heating has been off since 11 o'clock (we had subzero temperatures at night), and will probably turn on again soon.
The heating pump runs even when the burner is off -> heat is distributed in the house and does not accumulate as much.

I have no idea how a measly controlled residential ventilation is supposed to help? I mean, we have one too, but it has no influence on the heating behavior or room temperature.

In the end, only rigorous shading helps and accepting heating.

Nevertheless, we have extremely good consumption since we lowered the heating curve. And it hasn't noticeably gotten cooler either. Quite remarkable, actually. Since March 1st, we've only used 84 kWh of electricity for heating, an average of just 14 kWh per day.

is your heat pump only controlled by the outside temperature? Can't overheating be counteracted by return flow monitoring/control?

The meager controlled residential ventilation brings fresh air in without us having to fling open windows and causes higher temperatures not to have such a negative effect. Whether the heating is on or not has almost no impact, by the way, since the higher heat comes from the sun.

About outside temperature and return flow. Only at low outside temperatures is a higher return temperature necessary, and thus the heating starts regardless of the room temperature. I am concerned here with avoiding unnecessary heating costs.

Then you just must not ventilate by opening the windows. This is what one heating day per day looks like for me on the ground floor. Upstairs the curve looks similar, just a few degrees lower. Unfortunately, the bedroom was always too warm at 21.4 degrees in the evening. You just can't have everything.

The return flow was 22.0 degrees this morning around 10 o’clock. Return flow setpoint is 24.2 degrees. Currently, I always heat up around 11-12 o’clock to 4K above the return flow setpoint.
