With the setpoints configured in the heat pump. The circulation pump from the buffer to the plate heat exchanger of the heat pump is controlled by a PWM signal, i.e. this pump operates modulating. AT at 0°, e.g. return flow at 27°, flow at 32°, the pump operates at the lower limit. AT at -12° (live in the south), e.g. return flow at 24°, flow at 36°, the pump operates in the middle or higher control range.

now it's getting funny! I am currently working on a large project and was able to get about 50rm of the best beech wood from a state forest for free. It is like this with us, dear state propagates reducing CO2 emissions 24/7, but prefers to let such wood rot in the forest into CO2 rather than giving it away. There were then arguments that we could pull the wood out of the forest with our equipment "cost-neutral." Apart from that, I always have enough leftover wood from construction later, or I know a few people who can no longer cope with their own forest. And if I have to buy a wood stack for 250 euros a year, that doesn't make me any poorer.

No! You claim that wood costs you nothing, but you don’t have your own forest. Well, actually it’s getting more and more funny, since your situation is extremely special. But you still have to store and dry 50rm. However, it will probably be enough for the next 10 years.

Well, when I look at my environment, I am anything but special. But okay, the initial question in this thread was how to technically connect the two systems so that they work well together. I never asked anyone about the question of economic efficiency. Everyone must answer that for their own oh-so-special situation. However, I no longer discuss the general opinion on the internet that a water-bearing stove is the greatest economic nonsense and technically a horror scenario anyway. It’s like talking to people for whom a KFW40+ standard represents the ultimate and who also consider a 10kWp photovoltaic system combined with a 10kWh storage a super solution.

You don't have to either, since it doesn't matter at all to you how good or bad the system runs, as you burn everything away with massive wood input. It costs nothing anyway. Who cares about theoretical heating costs, technology or efficiency ;)

Exactly, I burn my 5 cubic meters per year and am satisfied with that.
And the inefficiency of my system heat pump + photovoltaics + wood can still best be seen on my electricity bill...
