Hello, can you post the consumption? Is it really comparable or do the friends, for example, have collectors?

The houses are almost identical except for the larger floor area and roof. Both use an air-to-water heat pump with a ventilation system. Neither has collectors, etc. It is about heating capacities of approximately 4kW (small model) and 6kW (large model, which I have). The larger model was also included in the construction contract. After all, I am commissioning Hausbauprofils so that they install a properly calculated heating system for me. That is my standpoint.

6kW is reasonable for a single-family house, and the heating element could also only activate at lower temperatures. Consumption can typically be reduced by better time control tailored to the needs. If an unnecessarily large hot water storage tank is kept at 55°C flow temperature 24/7, a lot of electricity is obviously consumed. Heating behavior also plays a big role. Those who keep the place at a cozy 23°C in winter simply pay more...

Well, now the deal is done. No one will replace the system, only adjust it as described. So what is your consumption in KW? How high is the water consumption (because of hot water). Anyone who showers warm every day also heats up

You are only describing the maximum output of the heat pump here. That initially has little to do with consumption. You have not provided other data (heat in kWh and electricity in kWh) so far. And KFW 55 is not the same as KfW 55.

4kW heating load for KfW55 at 250m² is pretty good. 6kW for 150m² is also okay. More important would be, among other things, that the underfloor heating is optimized for heat pumps or designed for low flow temperatures and that you have not installed a buffer tank or bypass valves.

Familiarize yourself with how a heat pump is optimally operated, then it (hopefully) will also work with consumption:
- Thermostats fully open, or remove them entirely
- perform thermal balancing
- set flow temperature as low as possible via heating curve

And when everything is optimally adjusted, then you continue and, for example, shut off the heating for 12 hours at night because it runs more efficiently during the day. And then it only delivers an average of 3kW heat and cycles less.

Additionally, hot water preparation up to a maximum of 45 degrees, 42 is also possible, I still find it very warm when showering. Do you have a buffer tank for hot water? If yes, which one?

And lockout times for hot water from 7 pm to 10 am. At night with low outside temperatures, there is no need to preheat water.

Circulation pump not in continuous operation.
