As long as you don’t come with the measurements and/or a photo, it will be neglected here.

May I remind you that your planning was not designed specifically for the furnishing? May I remind you that we are trying to spin gold out of sh** for over 10 pages?

So, because it’s so much fun, here’s another idea:
The table is conventionally rotated, the lawn seeded and the terrace finished... I had chosen a gray sofa, which simply looked too cold and was deleted immediately.
I cheekily left the wall as it is because it provides a nice contrast. I have poufs in discreet gray, the shelf back there is 120 wide.
The west wall remains white because of the problem of the missing west window and the connection to the rest of the white walls in the room.

And if you want to keep living old-fashioned, then don’t whine here!

P.S. The sofa is under the window at the golden ratio – as it should be. And if not, whatever – the main thing is that it looks good.

Or the fake lever arch file with the visitor's cognac, and instead of the medical novels Tim & Struppi as gilt edges

Sounds good. We always struggle with curtains, they have to match the rest, but also shouldn't be too dominant, but of course it would be great if the windows also appear bigger because of it!

This is only true in the sense that at the very beginning of the planning here in the forum, I did not list all the furnishings with measurements that I would like to include in the living area. As the furniture stands now, I have also planned exactly the windows and distances for it: - The south window ends 2.4 m from the west wall and thus aligns exactly with the backrest of the sofa - Next to it is a wall without a window that provides space for the end of the sofa (20 cm) as well as the piano (1.2 m) with air on the left and right (30 cm each) = 2 m - Next to the west window there is 2 m of space up to the south side, so that the leg of the planned corner sofa can be placed here and privacy is still ensured - Next to the chimney there is 3 m of space up to the south side; this provides space for the TV unit (1.2 m) and bookshelf (1.2 m) as well as still air in between/next to it So everything was indeed adapted by me back then exactly to the furnishings. In the process I unfortunately did not consider proportions, nor what I might want (looking out of the window?), and I also stuck to the furniture that absolutely has to be included. It would of course have been better to play through several furnishing variants with you here, as has only just happened now, and then incorporate the most sensible into the floor plan. Back then I thought I would simply follow the furnishing and then it would look good. When I presented the architect’s floor plan in #273, both the piano and the corner sofa had already been drawn in.

Then I could have left the white shelf with me. You could have told me that. Now it’s gone.
I now remember that for such reasons I stopped taking part in the floor plan discussion... because if you work something out here in the forum for someone else, there must be input and output from the OP.
In this respect, I think the examples speak for themselves and you can make use of them.
