I see that a bit differently, maybe I have a somewhat old-fashioned opinion. Besides, there are not only books on the shelf, but also a closed compartment, then a nice glass section, etc. So it’s also somewhat varied. I’d rather not do without it.
As long as you don’t come with the measurements and/or a photo, it will be neglected here.
We planned the south window so that it is completely behind the sofa.
May I remind you that your planning was not designed specifically for the furnishing? May I remind you that we are trying to spin gold out of sh** for over 10 pages?
So, because it’s so much fun, here’s another idea:
The table is conventionally rotated, the lawn seeded and the terrace finished... I had chosen a gray sofa, which simply looked too cold and was deleted immediately.
I cheekily left the wall as it is because it provides a nice contrast. I have poufs in discreet gray, the shelf back there is 120 wide.
The west wall remains white because of the problem of the missing west window and the connection to the rest of the white walls in the room.
And if you want to keep living old-fashioned, then don’t whine here!
P.S. The sofa is under the window at the golden ratio – as it should be. And if not, whatever – the main thing is that it looks good.
