But the site you mentioned doesn't design it, right? They just spruce up your dreadful draft to make it look presentable. It doesn't get better or more functional because of that.

Stop doodling and go to a professional!

Nice that you accept it well. After all, YOU have to spend your life in it! So, I have a semi-detached house where on the ground floor, because of the garage, there are windows only at the front and back. Still, it is better than yours. Every room has windows, including the hallway. Let a professional handle it, that's what they are there for! The old comparison, but do you operate on yourself?

The others had already successfully talked you out of this version ;)
I wouldn't give up in your place (to say "Architects, go ahead") -> YOU will live in it later with YOUR wishes and preferences. Personally, I think it's good to think things through and develop your personal plan, which an architect can then refine or use as a basic concept.
Don't let yourself get unsettled and reorganize; also take a look at other third-party plans sometimes. You sometimes just need inspiration. I can only recommend imagining walking mentally through the house.
-> Then you would have noticed on your own that the access to the bedroom through a bathroom is simply nonsense; or that the doors of the children's room and room 2 collide
...or a 28 sqm walk-in closet; awesome.

May I ask which program you are using??
(and did you take a photo of it? -> screenshot)

Wow, even one who understands me... The program is called Hausplaner, it's quite nicely made.. But you are right.. Especially when it comes to the statics. I definitely need an architect. Also, there is a 36m² large shed with a roof truss at the back of the house, which is built about 1m higher on the house due to the slope of the garden. We wanted to keep it, since it was only attached in 1990. But tear off the roof and integrate it as a *cube* for the Bauhaus style. But we want to use it as a shed. As I said, I also think only the architect can give me some serious designs that are feasible.. It doesn't help me now if I draw something and then it doesn't work structurally anyway...

Here also a layman's opinion: I am also a planner as a hobby, and it is immensely fun. But it only becomes fun when you have read into the subject a bit and know "something" about it. Squares next to each other without a challenge is not it :-) I think planning a floor plan in a semi-detached house is not bad at all. Then you at least have a partition wall that no one can take from you. Without this, you would plan even more windows and not be able to place any furniture anymore. Planning also means making compromises. For example, I don’t see this staircase with you, but a 3/4-turned one so that you manage upstairs. You can also take a stylish one matching the Bauhaus. With 4 people, the guest WC is used very often, so there must be a window there too. Or it goes on the middle wall. Enclosed rooms are always bad, possibly the dressing room... but that also means disturbing the other in the morning when constantly going back and forth. I hope you choose different windows for the Bauhaus ;-) So I hope for a new plan from you... You still have time, so it should be fun after all :-) Wishing you lots of joy Yvonne

Yes... I see it the same way... I have thought a lot about the floor plan... But I have to admit, an architect simply has many more ideas... The windows??? Why? They are floor-to-ceiling huge windows... That's not how it's done in Bauhaus... I am also not sure about the staircase yet.. the best would be a concrete staircase without a railing... but that's too dangerous for me.. we are still only 2 at the moment. 2 children are planned sooner or later... Many guest bathrooms have no window... if the ventilation is good...
