I tried something again (relocating the guest WC on the ground floor), which results in several advantages. Unfortunately, I don't know if the guest WC can also be technically realized at this location.

The advantages would be:
- small niche for a wardrobe on the ground floor (in the hallway opposite the entrance door) without additional "corners"
- bedroom on the upper floor lower right can be adjusted in width as desired (the gallery would become larger or smaller as a result)
- hallway on the upper floor is now smaller, thus less wasted space
- the two other rooms on the upper floor have the desired size of 14 m²

What do you think about it?

Mh, I would definitely see some progress. What you always neglect is the wardrobe in the hallway. I don’t even dare to say it, but my husband and I, the two of us have 7 shoe cabinets with 9 pairs each - completely full. Ok, that might be a bit extreme, it doesn’t have to be that way with you. Besides, everything is in there from slippers to boots to sports shoes. But with you, it looks pretty bare. Especially if 2 kids are supposed to come. I wouldn’t count on the space under the spiral staircase. You’ll need that just for the stroller and the scooter. A few measurements would be good too, so you can estimate the whole thing. How big is the guest shower, for example? Also: do you really want to put your love nest next to a children’s room? That could confuse little Mariechen a lot, why mommy sometimes screams like that in the bedroom. Chimney preferably properly against a wall or better in the corner.

You're right, there could be more. In the current draft, I at least tried to create a niche for jackets. Maybe there is still space for a shoe rack etc. on another wall (opposite the stairs?). For that, the hallway would have to be a bit deeper, which has already been made possible in some designs by forum members.

Unfortunately, my program can’t provide dimensions :-( but I can tell you the most important ones on the ground floor:
- Utility room 1.9 x 3.9
- Hallway 3.7 x 3.1
- Bathroom 1.2 x 2 + shower 0.8 x 0.8
- Guest room 3.6 x 3.1 - shower 0.8 x 0.8

If you have children, would you still do that?
We specifically have sand-lime brick walls to achieve better sound insulation in all rooms. The main reason is rather that I wanted the children's rooms facing south and that there is a house quite close to the west side, which is not a nice view all the time, but okay for a bedroom. But of course, it can still be changed.

Ah, you mean in the upper floor, okay, at first I wanted to make the bedroom a bit bigger, but you’re right, it stands awkwardly in the room.

well, I pretty rarely look out of the window in the bedroom *grübel*. you only stay there to sleep, right.

Sorry, I forgot the north arrow. Bottom right on the plan is west, so the bedroom is there. Then the house wouldn’t bother me so much when I look outside. The pictures now again with cardinal directions.

At least, I like, for example, that the center wall is now smooth again

Due to the "preset" outer dimension constellation / basic shape, there is a frame with a finite number of real variations. From my point of view, you have now actually gone through them all. That means, at this point, I see no urgent progress and reason for a break; before further detailed refinements on your part, now seems the time for involving an architect.

If you get bored in the meantime, you can contribute a few exterior views for a change, so we don't only see those from kaho674
